Magazia was once upon a time the capital of Paxos. It is a tiny hamlet nestled amongst the olive trees approximately 4km northwest of Gaios. The village has a mini market, taverna, and a small bar/kafenion & bakery. A favourite area for walkers as there is a network of paths through the olive groves that lead to the lovely church of Ag. Apostoli and the famous cliffs of Ermitis from which you can witness the beautiful sunset. A small distance from the village you will find an olive press museum which was built in 1865 and in use until 1960. It provides a good insight into how people lived in the early days of Paxos.

I cant say enough about this villa and its secluded location. We recently returned home from the property and had the best time! The Villa Nionios and Magazia were perfect for me and my wife. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches nearby and also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within only a 5-minute drive away. The place is very charming and clean and ideal for a relaxed holiday. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Beach Villas was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You sure will be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in the villa.

It was a beautiful well-equipped villa in a peaceful hillside location approx 3 mins drive from the center of Gaios where there was plenty of life if you want it. We loved to occasional dip to the pool. Villa Nionios is very cozy and we were grateful for the comfort of the sitting room in the villa as the weather was unseasonably chilly at night. We do rent a hire car as we wanted to visit also other places in Paxos. There is no better way to enjoy an evening meal than on the veranda of Villa Nionios enjoying the incredible sunsets. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful villa in a stunning setting. The photos dont do it justice ! Its much prettier than we expected... Very prompt and sympathetic response from Agni when the ferry was cancelled and another nights stay in the villa was required . Would definitely recommend Agni travel and the villa !
