We are a married couple in our mid 40s with teenage daughters. We stayed in Villa Thalia Sofia for one week at the end of June, beginning of July 2022. Driving directions to the villa, key location, contact details of the property manager and even the WiFi code, were all made available to us before we left the UK. On arrival, the bottled water and biscuits left for us were much appreciated, the villa was clean and pool area ready for us to dive in and immediately start enjoying our holiday. The villa suited our need for space and practicality perfectly. Each of our teenage daughters had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher and everything we needed to self cater for the majority of the holiday. We visited the local tavernas a few times too, which, along with the local supermarket, are within easy walking distance from the Villa of an evening. Air conditioning is very good, the lounge and each bedroom can be controlled separately. WiFi is consistent, showers are hot and powerful, bedding and towels are comfortable and clean. The pool area is spacious, with fabulous views to the sea and Mountain. The pool was cleaned once during our one week stay. Maid visited once also, to change towels replenish bin liners etc. In summary, the villa had everything our teens are used to for modern living, but retained a traditional vibe in its decor and location. For us, it was perfect. Would gladly stay again and recommend to others

Booked a villa in Cyprus through this company last year. The Villa Thalia Sofia was as well spectacular, with absolutely no issues. It was spotlessly clean & well presented. We liked to book a villa in a private isolated setting far from the main traffic and we found the Villa Thalia Sofia to be our best holiday retreat. Its a nice quiet location near to Trapezaki and Argostoli and other local amenities: beaches, tavernas, bars, etc. Overall nice holiday. Thank you, Agni for being extremely helpful & giving us lots of useful information & contact numbers for the local area. Looking forward to booking with you again for next year.

We thought the island was beautiful, so green, pretty, and unspoiled. We will definitely return in the future. We loved the peace and quiet of Villa Thalia Sofia and the surrounding area and particularly the beautiful beaches in the surrounding areas of Trapezaki. We had a wonderful holiday in Trapezaki. Villa was as described, compact but perfectly functional and clean. Spacious terrace with both table, chairs, and sun loungers with great patio/BBQ area. The swimming pool was a good size and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers. Trapezaki and Kefalonia are fantastic, we had a relaxed holiday there and definitely, we are coming back with our friends next time.

The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to almost everything: local places to visit, restaurants, tavernas, bars...I think that the pictures accurately reflect the property. There is also a beautiful beach(Trapezaki Beach) within a 2-minutes drive where we enjoyed an early morning stroll. We found the people of Trapezaki very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...).

Lovely location with stunning views of the bay and the sunsets. Tavernas were excellent. shielded by the trees, it was so pleasant to swim and sit outside, hardly went inside all week, even when eating we used the terrace and balcony.

Villa Sofia is a traditional Greek Villa with fantastic views and big swimming pool. The location is a quiet village with a few tavernas within 15 minutes walk. The Beach is a little further 25 ish minutes. Be aware that Trapezaki is very hilly, the walk down to the beach was fine, the walk back is all uphill. We had a car but you could easily walk everywhere as long as you were prepared for the hills. Obviously this provided amazing views down to the coast. The villa itself was perfect, we are a family of 4 and the boys had their own bedroom. The beds and linen were really comfortable and each had our own bathroom. The hot water as did take some time to come through but we were advised of that in advance so wasnt a problem. The living area was great, fully equipped kitchen and water in the large fridge freezer on arrival. Plenty of space to eat at the dining table inside and outside. The outside area is big, 4 sunbeds and patio area with a shaded pergola covering the table. Shade also moved around the pool area throughout the day. We used the BBQ and now want one at home. Overall the villa was perfect, we visited during Covid and having our own space was just perfect. If I could improve one thing, maybe 6 sunbeds at the pool as the villa sleeps 6, and only room for 4 on the sofa (but how often does everyone sit down together). I would definitely return to Villa Sofia and highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy their own space in a perfect location. Lovely host Thalia too who we met on our way out one day. Tracy

Myself and my husband have been visiting Kefalonia regularly for the last 9 years. Agni Travel being my preferred villa travel company. My experiences have been so good I have recommended villas to friends. I really like the accuracy of the information available online including the location and local amenities. I really like that villas are locally owned by local people with a passion to make your stay enjoyable. This was my first stay at Villa Sofia although I have stated in 2 other Agni villas in this particular area. The views were lovely and the orientation meant we started the day with breakfast on the patio with a sea view and ended the day watching the sun go down in exactly the same way. The facilities at the villa meant that we were able to cook our own evening meal and enjoy a chilled glass of village wine. The local shops provide absolutely everything you need. The villa was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay with a maid service and fresh bedding and towels provided 3 times during our 10 day stay. Our sincere thanks to the Agni team and also to Thalia and her team for making our stay perfect. I shall definitely be returning to this lovely villa.

Villa Thalia was,absolutely amazing & the photos,on the website do not do it justice. The villa is well appointed & in a very convenient location to,the beach & local restaurants. The view from the terrace to,the sea is superb. We had a great holiday here & will come back again

Villa is in a quiet area and excellent for a relaxing break, with lovely views across the sea. Thalia is the perfect host, on hand to check everything is OK but gives you your own space as well. Excellent service once again

The villa was perfect for our holiday. Close enough to local small supermarket and 3 nice restaurants to be able to walk. Standard of cleanliness was very good and partway through we had maid service who changed bed sheets and towels which we were not expecting for only a week lond stay. The only negative thing I have to say is that we found the owner suddenly appearing from time to time a little disconcerting and not something we have ever experienced before when renting a villa.

The villa location and view was perfect. Its in a quiet, but accessible area 15 minutes from the airport central to the southern part of the Island. There are a bank of four villas, but they are perfectly secluded from each other that you will never know you have neighbours nor will you be worried people can see you in the pool/sunbathing. We stayed a week in June 2018 and had a wonderful time. We were a party of five ranging from ages 51, 44, 43, 24 and 21. The villas amenities are up to date, clean and in fully working order, there is a lovely veranda where you can sit outside and eat, or a large enough dining area inside which we never used as the weather was perfect to have all of our meals that we took at the villa outside. The pool is in an L shape with a 1.8m deep end on the L, with enough sunbeds and chairs around it for plenty. Were quite a large family and we never felt like we were in each othera€™s way. There is also a barbecue which we found good use for There are lots of hills locally and around the Island and a car would be a necessity for the big shops that are a little out of walking distance and if you wanted to investigate the Island. There is a Lidl and a Greek Supermarket on the main road to Argostoli about 7km from the villa. The local shop is a five minute walk and the beach about another 10 from there. The shop is a perfect halfway point if you are walking back as you may need refreshment because of said incline back from Trapezaki beach. One of us hired a bicycle and used that to ride around the local area and to the capital Argostoli. The bike hire place is a five minute walk from the local shop and for a‚¬20 you got two days hire, with panniers, helmet and lights should you wish to venture out at night. The island itself is amazing, we drove to most of the major cities all with their own individual charms, and there are several beautiful beaches along the way. Sami is a port town where you can sit on the front in one of the many Tavernas and admire the expensive boats and look out to Ithaca Argostoli is the biggest city on the Island. It has a lovely walkway across the bay and a several restaurants overlooking the bridge. Assos is an old Venetian town with a large castle on the peninsular. The walk to the top is not for the faint of heart, but the view once you get near the top are spectacular. Fiscardo is the town furthest North and has a wonderful harbour and views to Ithaca from a different perspective. The driving conditions are fairly adequate, most of the roads are well maintained but some of the hairpins on the roads are first gear bends and the local drivers are quite frisky for overtaking manoeuvres. In summary, lovely villa and you need to be fit or have a car to make the most of the local amenities. My only gripe is the firmness and how the low the double bed was in the double room. A new mattress might cure that, but that might just be a personal preference as Im 6ft 5 and weigh 17st.

The island and people were wonderful. We loved it and would recommend it. Although planning lots of trips to the various towns is a must as there is lots to see.

Fantastic family time. The villa was perfect and very safe for young children. I would recommend bringing a travel stair gate as we did. The owner is very nice and friendly and takes great pride in her villa, very clean and well equipped. When we arrived we had bottled water, juice, tea and coffee left for us which was really nice. We will be returning next year as we have loved everything about our holiday.
